Leadership Team

Harris County Juvenile Probation Department (HCJPD) provides supervision and services to young people between the ages of 10 and 17 who are under the jurisdiction of the Juvenile Court. HCJPD is the largest juvenile probation department in Texas with approximately 1,100 employees and over 6,600 young people referred to the department annually.

HCJPD programs and services operate under the direction of the Harris County Juvenile Board.

Diana Quintana, PhD
Assistant Executive Director
Dr. Diana Quintana has over 20 years of experience in the development, implementation, and coordination of behavioral and mental health services for children and adolescents.

Dr. Quintana also has extensive experience working with community organizations to develop innovative programs and approaches to more effectively address gaps in services throughout Harris County Juvenile Probation Department.

In 1994, Dr. Quintana began working in conjunction with HCJPD as the Chief Psychologist for the Child and Adolescent Forensic Unit.

Formally, she began working with the department in 2001, and since that time, she served as the Deputy Director for both the Health Services and Residential Services divisions before moving to her current role as Assistant Executive Director.

In addition to her role as Assistant Executive Director, Dr. Quintana oversees the Administration and Human Resources divisions of the department.
